30 Day Blogging challenge. Day 6: Your view on mainstream music

Mainstream music sucks nowadays. I can't say I hate it, because you've heard me singing that "Friday" song many times.

See, mainstream music has one purpose: To make you addicted to a song with no particular meaning or message, to buy the record and perhaps even go to the show. The whole point of it is entertainment...and perhaps to teach you a few new dance moves (you a jerk! you a jerk!)! You fall for it, then laugh about it years later. I think it's addictive yet irrelevant, and I can't lie and say I haven't fell for it many, many times. It's okay to fall for it sometimes but if as an ADULT that's all you listen to....something's wrong. 

There is nothing new with the fuckery involved with mainstream music! Let me give you

Some of the mainstream music is so ignorant, it's disgusting. It's even more disgusting that I have it on my phone and listen to some of it everyday, damnit. 2 Chaiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
