Day 14: What you wore today

Regular day at work.

But my glasses and the red pants made all the difference! I told you guys I would try to wear more colors this summer.

What Sassou wore: Hot summer day off

I LOVE this dress I got from Beacon's closet and couldn't wait for Lahens, my couturier extraordinaire, to arrange it for me it so I could rock it! It orignally has to be tied behind the neck but I used the "American Apparel" method and turned it into a tube dress...well for that day anyways! Really appreciated all of the compliments I got for it and decided to share the details of this outfit with you guys :D

Dress: Beacon's Closet on 5th ave in Brooklyn, NY. Vintage HERMÈS! Believe it or not! I am still in shock I found an Hermès dress for a reasonable price. It wasn't in the best state in terms of fit but I bought it anyways and got it fixed. 

Belt: ADS. 2$. Real talk.

Bag: Got this one at Zara in Paris last year. Haven't seen it in Montreal yet! Niiiice :D

Bracelet: My own :)

Shades: Gucci. Amazing gift from Paris. Thank you daddy!

Earrings: Urban Behavior. With short hair, gigantic earrings are not an exaggeration.

I like mixing the old with the new and have a particular love for vintage/2nd hand items that are super unique.

Those cool boots I got at Zara

Fall = The season for boots. I didn't want the ones everyone has (You know, the suede and long boots, the pointy ones or even....those cowboy looking boots. NO). I don't know why but I have this thing for boots with LACES! Looked everywhere downtown and of course, I had to find them at Zara, as always! 

They were 69,95$, still hurt like hell, but I love em! Yeah buddy! 

And I will get more boots very soon! Stayed tuned for my collaboration with Cougar boots

Don't go to Zara when you are on a budget

Or you might go bankrupt. Or not eat until your next paycheck. Or....well....you know...have no money left for awhile.

Because the stuff there is AWESOME! You go for shoes and you end up with: shoes, a skirt, a scarf, skinny jeans, a leather purse, sunglasses, a flowered shirt, a belt, and your bank account in the garbage/overdraft/kapoot/dead.

I would like to add that I only bought shoes and jeans today. I behaved :) But it kinda hurt though because I wanted to buy the whole freakin store #progress

-Bag: Original Longchamp, Le Pliage, available at Ogilvy's for about 145$, depending on the size

-Hot-Dog: 2$, mustard and ketchup included!
