Day 14: What you wore today

Regular day at work.

But my glasses and the red pants made all the difference! I told you guys I would try to wear more colors this summer.

What Sassou wore: Hot summer day off

I LOVE this dress I got from Beacon's closet and couldn't wait for Lahens, my couturier extraordinaire, to arrange it for me it so I could rock it! It orignally has to be tied behind the neck but I used the "American Apparel" method and turned it into a tube dress...well for that day anyways! Really appreciated all of the compliments I got for it and decided to share the details of this outfit with you guys :D

Dress: Beacon's Closet on 5th ave in Brooklyn, NY. Vintage HERMÈS! Believe it or not! I am still in shock I found an Hermès dress for a reasonable price. It wasn't in the best state in terms of fit but I bought it anyways and got it fixed. 

Belt: ADS. 2$. Real talk.

Bag: Got this one at Zara in Paris last year. Haven't seen it in Montreal yet! Niiiice :D

Bracelet: My own :)

Shades: Gucci. Amazing gift from Paris. Thank you daddy!

Earrings: Urban Behavior. With short hair, gigantic earrings are not an exaggeration.

I like mixing the old with the new and have a particular love for vintage/2nd hand items that are super unique.

Lookin like a million bucks, but spent less than 100$! HA!

-Dress by Miley Cyrus and Max Azria , bought at WAL-MART (I'm sure everyone's mouth dropped just now) in Miami: 9.99$
-Stockings: Pharmaprix, again, 5.99$ for 3 pairs
-Shoes BCBG Girls bought at Winners in 2009, 59.99$
-Bag: Original vintage Louis Vuitton found at a thrift store in Mtl for 9.99$
-Hair: By me ;)
-Jewelry: H&M 12.95$ for the necklace and 6.95$ for the earrings set (9 pairs)

"What Sassou Wore": Montreal Fashion Week (Day 3)

Okay so I just started blogging, i suck with HTML and I took wayyy too many notes about the 5 fashion shows I attended today.

I will DEFINITELY talk to you guys about all that, but not now. It's almost 4 a.m. and I'm starting to see double...lol

In the meanwhile, here's what I wore today :)




-Dress/Shirt: Rainbow Miami, 12.99$ (HA! How bout that??)
-Belt: H&M Montreal, 19.99$ (funny that the belt is more expensive than the shirt)
-Stockings: Pharmaprix, forgot the brand, 5.99$ on special
-Boots: Aldo (250 Ste-Catherine Est, H2X 1L4), 119.99$
-Necklace: Guess (gift from my cousin who works at Guess hehehe)
-Earrings: H&M 6.99

-Hair by ME (HA!) but original haircut and beautiful color by Nadège at Mordicus Sebastien (541 rue Ontario Est, Montréal 514-849-5108) she is GREAT!!!

The trick to a killer outfit: Color and Accessories!!! I don't think that dress/shirt would have looked as nice without the belt and jewelry.
